Looking ahead to the New Year 2 for 1 at the Edge

Heads up! We are taking a couple weeks off from teaching at the Edge (no classes Dec 26th and January 2). We are teaching Tuesday and Thursday the week after that and having a 2 for 1 special. In the meantime, ENJOY the SNOW!

The Tuesday class we will focus on stretching and opening through AcroYoga, and Thursday we are focusing on strength building through AcroYoga. Bring a friend and see you there!

Worshop at Shanti Yoga in Troy NY

AcroYoga First Flow!

Come explore yoga as a creative, collaborative process of movement, breath and presence!
In this three hour First Flow workshop we will explore the energizing practice of AcroYoga Montreal. We will begin with a yoga warm-up, incorporating partner work and games. We will work through a variety of AcroYoga skills and strength building exercises in teams. We will learn the three roles of AcroYoga – basing, flying and spotting. These different roles help us offer our support and receive the support of others, allowing us to push the edge of our possible! We will have opportunities to find our own creative paths. These skills will build into your First (AcroYoga) Flow where we will connect with ourselves and our partners through breath, movement and intention.

Partners are not necessary, and class is geared towards beginners and advanced beginners (if you are not sure, email us!). Dress as you normally would for yoga, but do make sure that you won't lose your shirt when you go upside down! Bring water and a snack.

Please sign up in advance to save your spot at ($35). Space is limited - register early. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!

'Tis the season for Slackline Yoga and more Acro Fun in Keene

Take flight Friday, May 31st from 7-9 pm. Join us as Scott and Cathy, Team WillCo guide us through another exciting practice of AcroYoga!

We invite you to explore yoga as a creative, collaborative process of movement, breath and presence in the AcroYoga Montreal class.
These introductory classes will provide you with a foundation in AcroYoga practice, and will help you experience your existing yoga practice in a new light. We will learn the three main roles (spotting, basing, flying) of a safe AcroYoga practice and learn to support each other! Each class will include a yoga warm up, strength, skill and awareness building exercises, and the introduction of partner AcroYoga poses, both strength building and energy releasing.

What is slackline yoga practice?
Think of it like yoga on a 1” wide mat!

In slackline classes, we build focus, core integration, breath awareness, and balance. It is great for yogis, runners, climbers, acrobats, and slackliners! Classes will include a yoga warm-up, strength drills, partner work and slackline practice. We teach a variety of poses on the line including kneeling, sitting and standing poses which offer many ways to experience this new balance awareness.

$25 pre-registration; $35 day of.

This is an outside event and is weather dependent. We'll hope for sun but if it's raining we may have to cancel, (w/ your money back).
